Tartar Sauce

If you ever make this delicious Tartar Sauce, your family and friends will never be satisfied again with the stuff off the shelf!  Serve it with crabcakes, on fish sandwiches and with hush puppies!  Enjoy y'all-Claire

This is Ina Garden (Barefoot Contessa)'s recipe....

1/2 cup good mayonnaise (I like Duke's light)
2 tablespoons small-diced pickles or cornichons
1 tablespoons Champagne or white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon capers
1 teaspoon coarse-grained mustard
pinch kosher salt
pinch freshly ground black pepper

Place all the ingredients in a food processor or mini chopper fitted with a steel blade and pulse several times until the pickles are finely chopped and all the ingredients are well mixed but not pureed.
