Pesto Tomato Chicken

This is so easy and so good!  I like to serve it with a little bit of pasta. :-)  Enjoy y'all!  -Claire


Boneless, skinless, chicken breasts (if they are thick I cut them in half horizontally)

basil pesto

tomato(es)

fresh mozzarella, sliced

salt

pepper

shredded parmesan cheese

italian seasoning

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Place chicken breasts in dish.  Spoon basil pesto generously on each chicken breast.  Place tomato slices on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Place slices of mozzarella cheese on top of tomatoes.  Sprinkle with italian seasoning and parmesan cheese.  Bake for 30-40 minutes until chicken is done.  Server with pasta if you desire!
